Terms of Service

Last updated: this version applies from launch.

1. Who we are

Travel SOS provides independent, general guidance to travellers whose luggage has been lost, delayed, damaged or has gone missing. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. What the service is

We turn your answers into a personalised checklist of practical next steps, and optionally provide message templates and follow-up guidance. That is the entirety of what we supply.

3. What the service is not

Travel SOS is not an insurance company, not a law firm, not a claims management company and not an airline representative. Nothing here is legal, financial or insurance advice, and no relationship of that kind is created by using the site.

4. No promise of an outcome

We do not promise, guarantee or estimate any compensation, refund, reimbursement or recovery of your belongings. Airlines, insurers and authorities decide those outcomes, not us. Paid plans buy guidance and preparation only.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us, for meeting any deadlines that apply to your situation, and for confirming requirements directly with your airline, insurer or the relevant authority. Deadlines can be short — act promptly.

6. Payments

Paid plans are currently offered by request. No payment is taken through this site at present; we will contact you with next steps before anything is charged.

7. Acceptable use

Don't submit false information, other people's personal data without their permission, or use the service to prepare a dishonest claim.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from acting on general guidance, including missed deadlines or rejected claims. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the version published here is the one that applies.
